After Markus and Torgrim, we introduce you to the third member of the creative trio from 3Troubadours, which we can’t wait to host on our STORYing festival in May!
He isTom Van Outryve and he is a true example of a spontaneous creative person who lives in the spur of the moment and has stories up his sleeve. He collects them rapidly and skillfully and finds in every possible moment: his inspiration is life itself and all of its anecdotes and daily events that lurk behind the corner every day! Tom knows how to deal with them – creatively!
One more charming thing about Tom’s stories is that they don’t stay with him for a long time. Like a hot potato, he can’t wait to throw them in someone other’s hands and that way make some more space for some more stories. His stories are result of the moment: spontaneous,unusual and often peculiar, just like life that moves them! Tom is here to capture them on time and add a touch of his dynamic interpretation which both children and adults enjoy. Simply, everyone who loves life and its tricks!
He was born in Belgium and he collaborates with a few storytelling societies in Europe: true story lover and theatre gourmet, dynamic jolly and a friendly spirit of every festival – he spreads laughter and positivity on and off the stage. Wher ever he steps, a story buds, and he captures them as fast as they bud!
Tom tells stories for children and adults – children enjoy his funny and humorous interpretation of folk tales and fairy tales, and adults eagerly enter Tom’s world and catch hot potatoes. Erm, sorry, stories which he hands them over!
Of course, we can’t wait to catch each and every one of them he passes us on the festival in May – we will happily pass them over to the world!
