STORYing in the neighborhood spirit

Stories from the neighborhood, neighborhood chit-chat, gatherings around the corner – that’s the theme of the first STORYing, that’s the spirit we’re calling upon!

Friendly, positive and casual one. The one we consider ours and feel at home around it, because we really are home! In our city, our neighborhood, in our element!

Why this theme in particular? Because we all have our own stories from the neighborhood. They are close to us, always current and eternally interesting: good vibe of every childhood, famous port of sweet and homely. Playful stealing our closest neighbour’s cherries, knocking on the nearest door for a bit of milk, coffee times on the balcony, chit-chats in the hallways. People and stories we know – the ones from the neighborhood sleeve.

Now we take them all to the big scene. Not because we want to reveal all the big secrets, but to transfer all the warm, homely and positive atmosphere, the one which wears slippers and knocks on the door with freshly made cookies. Stories we live our whole lives with – good spirits of every neighborhood, sweet rituals of joint gardens. In conclusion: our stories, cosa nostra in a local way, and without mafia interferring, even if it was the neighborhood one!

Our desire is to, in a friendy and casual tone and together with you, tell a story about Zagreb’s STORYing, because all of us together are part of a bigger story! Every neighborhood is full of anecdotes: burnt cookies, bicycle accidents, mysterious key losses, mutual tradings and exchangements. Books, hair curlers, cake tins…you know: all the little things that mean neighborhood. And great stories that bud from them: the ones about friendships and helping positivity, laughter and playful anecdotes when needed, which eventually become legends! About everything that fits into one neighborhood and makes it a unique little universe. Just like in every real story, the ones that live with us!

STORYing wants to celebrate them – and send everyone a message about gathering, fun and friendship!

And is there a better way to do it, than this?
